Plus Recycling Network
The Client
Plus Recycling Network is a B2B industrial recycling company specializing in the buying and selling of recycled plastics — polyethylene, PET, PVC, HDPE, PP, and more. Their customers are manufacturers and industrial buyers who deal in material by grade, not by finished product. It's a relationship-driven, knowledge-heavy industry where credibility is everything.
The Problem
PRN came in as a sister company to Plus Materials, an existing Tan & Fam client. They had a dated website that didn't reflect the scope of what they actually do — seven distinct service lines, a complex product catalog spanning multiple plastic grades, and a growing customer base across North America. The catalog problem in particular was real: with hundreds of SKUs internally, the challenge wasn't building a catalog — it was building the right one. Simple enough for a buyer to navigate. Specific enough to be useful. Accurate enough to set the right expectations about what PRN deals in. There was also no email marketing infrastructure. No MailChimp setup. No segmented welcome flows. No way to differentiate communications between buyers and sellers, or between PRN and Plus Materials contacts in a shared database.
What We Built
New Website
A full build from scratch — homepage, services, product catalog, about us, contact, plus legal pages. Designed to match PRN's brand identity while keeping a consistent look and feel with Plus Materials, since many customers interact with both.
Product Catalog
Designed around how PRN's buyers actually think: by plastic grade, not by product form. Six categories (PE, PET, PVC, HDPE, PP, PS/ABS), each with 3–4 products underneath. Filter functionality built in. Product pages with inquiry CTAs that pre-populate the contact form by material type — so a buyer landing on a PET product page gets routed correctly.
Service Landing Pages
Seven service lines each with their own dedicated page — built as landing pages so buyers searching for specific services (industrial cleanouts, secure destruction, logistics) could land directly without going through the homepage.
Email Marketing Setup
MailChimp integration connected to the contact form, with inquiry type segmentation. Buyers and sellers routed separately. PRN contacts separated from Plus Materials contacts in a shared database, with distinct welcome email templates for each.
Legal & Compliance Pages
Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookies Policy — all written and published at launch.
The Result
A B2B website built for the way industrial buyers actually search and evaluate suppliers. PRN went from a dated placeholder to a credible, navigable digital presence with a working catalog, segmented email infrastructure, and service-specific landing pages ready for SEO over time.
