    The client

Tickets4Fans (tickets4fans.ca) is a fan-to-fan marketplace for Toronto sports tickets — Raptors, Blue Jays, Toronto FC, and the WNBA's Toronto Tempo — built and operated by Tan & Fam Inc. Tickets come from local season-seat holders, not resellers, with no hidden fees. Unlike my client projects, this one is mine end to end: the product decisions, the engineering, the marketing, and the ongoing operations. It's the most honest case study I can show. Everything I recommend to clients, I run here first.

    The problem

Buying Toronto sports tickets usually means fee-heavy resale sites and no easy way to trust the person on the other end. Season-seat holders, meanwhile, lack a simple, local place to pass on games they can't attend. Tickets4Fans had to solve both sides at once: earn buyer trust, give sellers a frictionless outlet, and get discovered — in search AND in AI answer engines — all with real money and my own reputation on the line.

    What I built

    A trust-first fan-to-fan marketplace
Team hubs for the Raptors, Blue Jays, Toronto FC, and Toronto Tempo, with schedules, game pages, and listings from local season-seat holders. No hidden fees; buyers reach sellers directly. Built on React + TypeScript and Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage) with 50+ edge functions, on Vercel + Cloudflare.
    Last-Minute Deals — a subscription automation engine
A $5/month email product that sends subscribers last-minute Toronto ticket deals. Runs on an n8n-scheduled daily pipeline with morning/evening tiers, HMAC-signed one-click seller confirmations ("still available / update price / sold"), Stripe billing, and game-id dedup so no deal is ever sent twice.
AI + SEO/AEO, applied to my own product
An autonomous "Concierge" agent (Anthropic Claude) drafts full deal-campaign emails for review; OpenAI generates game recaps. Bot-aware Open Graph middleware, structured data, llms.txt, and automated sitemaps make the site legible to both search engines and AI crawlers — the same AEO work I sell.
    Lifecycle growth & email
Resend + Mailchimp power seller drip onboarding, buyer/seller lifecycle emails, newsletter and campaign automation, and multi-stage listing reminders — with consent-aware GA4 + Meta Pixel analytics under Consent Mode v2.
Ticket listings with seat maps and Contact Seller buttons
Listings from season-seat holders, each with a seat view.
Toronto Raptors team hub with schedule and ticket links
    Game search and how-it-works section

    The result

A live, operating marketplace owned by Tan & Fam Inc. that doubles as a working demonstration of my web development, automation, AI, and SEO/AEO capabilities. When I tell a client how I'd build and grow their product, this is the site I point to.
